Horrible photographers!!!! I've been going to JcPenny for family pictures every year. Each year they get worse and worse. I specifically asked for a family photo, and individual photos with my child holding the number for how old they are. (4 kids. Birthdays all within a few weeks).... I spent hundreds of dollars preparing for pictures today. Hair, nails, outfits, etc. We get there and check in. She starts taking pictures, my 3 year old wasn't cooperating. The photographer was great! Had a wonderful demeanor and made effort to make my girls smile. However that is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. The other 2 staff members were rude and deceptive. The origami price quoted was $99. However when checking out they said the total was $641. I asked if they applied our coupon and the person said that we didn't read the entire coupon. To start I will take accountability for being late and my almost 2 year old being tired and cranky as I had to wake him from his nap to go in for our session. I did call the studio ahead of time and let them know I was running behind as I lived an hour away and there was snow blowing into the roads with slick spots and they assured me they had plenty of time. We’ve been going to this location since 2022 for family photos twice a year, but after our most recent experience we will never return. We have a 3-year-old with developmental delays, so we intentionally scheduled the earliest appointment available months in advance to minimize wait time and overstimulation. When we arrived, we found out the studio had opened earlier appointments after ours and there were ~20 people already waiting. No one was at check-in for 10 minutes. let me save you the time 0/10 do not recommend they rush you taking the pictures and make you wait do them to edit them while a lot of them you can see the wrinkly background or in some pictures you can see the floors and then in some pictures our eyes look weird it’s just not worth it get younger photographers who do not rush and understand photography! Oh and they take one shot of each pose what the hell
