I'd give this place a 0/5, if I could. Yes, you can get cheap photos here through Groupon. The problem is there's no customer service (literally) if there's a problem and I guarantee there will be a problem due to low/no staffing, untrained photographers, poor shipping methods, no management, and no accountability. If the cheap photos are worth the irritation and inconvenience, then by all means. But I'm to the point where I'd rather pay a little more for great photos than waste huge amounts of time and anxiety on this place... read more
We had a great experience with Staci. I booked 2 days in advanced - family photos for 5 people. She did a great job of posing and working with our kids (3,5,&9) She explained all the pricing, bundles, and coupons. Fairbanks doesn't have anything like this so I was very impressed getting studio time for 5, full digital album, and a 20×24 canvas print for under $250.
I scheduled an appointment at JCPenney Portrait Studio for my child's 3rd birthday at 11:30. Despite confirming multiple appointments they sent, we waited an hour without anyone showing up. When I called, the phone rang without anyone answering, as the place was closed. It's frustrating to prepare for this special day only to find no one available. What’s the purpose of scheduling an appointment if no one is present, and why was I not notified of their unavailability? I even received a reminder at 5 AM!
This is the worst service. Three times I had scheduled appointments, and no one showed up. They keep wasting my time.
