My appointment was at 3:45pm and did not get pictures taken until 5:00pm and you still have to wait 45-1hr for you to get your pictures. The photographer kept telling us not to smile in our pictures when we clearly wanted to smile in the pictures. Also Tara the studio manager is very rude and unprofessional in person & on the phone. I even saw her arguing with a customer in the store and laughed about it after they left. I would not recommend coming here.
Despite being incredibly busy , the staff were amazing and very lively . Our photographer was super nice and gave us fun and cute poses without making us feel rushed. The manager Tara was incredibly helpful and made my experience very enjoyable.
This is the 2nd time I booked a session with JCP and they changed my reservation without asking my permission or even discussing with me. Not a single call attempt or text or email made. The first time was around Easter, and they changed not only the appt time but the date as well. When I advised them that won't work because these are family portraits and my daughter will be with her father for visitation, they said there was nothing they could do as the "package I picked out was only for special days" which is a lie. If Lily, Tara, or Val from Greenwood or Plainfield JcPenny calls your phone (soliciting) about getting photos done to help the new photographers DO NOT BOOK, IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM!!! They called me a day before the appointment and changed the place, the cost, and time. Tara or Val the managers were supposed to call to clear the situation up no one reached out. Won’t be a returning customer. Pros: Dirt cheap. Cons: You get what you pay for. Inflexible and ill-informed staff. All five of our photo shoot experiences were frustrating ordeals.
