I scheduled a photo shoot for my son with the ENTIRE purpose being to recreate some photos my MIL got of my husband at the same age at JC Penney back in the 90's. They were some pretty basic poses in front of the generic blue backdrop, and honestly should have been one of the simpler photo shoot requests I imagine they have recieved. I had a terrible experience at JCPenney Portrait. The staff’s unfriendliness was extremely upsetting and made me very angry. I strongly recommend choosing a different place for a better experience.
Update 08/2025 There are some good photographers here but you have to choose your days wisely. But my biggest gripe is this new system imposed by JCP about these new extended session fees and upped prices. We asked about an extended session and they said it gave us more time but our appt was 15 minutes like normal for pictures but instead of like 16 pictures we got 24 (we had two kids with outfit changes). But we didn’t get more time and we paid an extra $25 for then only 8 more pictures than normal?? That’s a ripoff. And it... read more
Very deceitful, will show a price online and then obligate you to buy ridiculously priced pictures, but they’ll wait until you can’t cancel to let you know. Also their costumer service is horrible, I called JJ and they were completely unhelpful. Would never recommend to anyone
Had an absolutely amazing experience with PJ. This is our first and I was so comfortable and happy with how she did the photoshoot and her creative expression. Me and my fiancé are beyond satisfied and happy with how the photos came out! PJ has a tone of experience and is amazing with babies! These are a little glimpse to what she did for us, I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to PJ and the staff at this JCP studio!!!
