I went for holiday photos today. On the phone when I schedule I was told about “Santa’s toy shop” equipped with real toys and props. I got none of that. In addition our family portraits (the most important one) was terrible. I couldn’t see my kids as they were posed with me, but they looked awful! We had a terrible experience getting family photos done at JC Penney today. Our appointment was at 9:30 AM, but since the mall was closed, there were no instructions on where to go to get inside. I tried calling for help, but no one answered. They finally called me 5 minutes before the appointment to tell me where to go. By then, we were already out of the car, standing in the rain on the opposite side of the building. This is my first bad experience at JCPenney Portraits. They had no idea how to arrange us, our family photos were lopsided. There were shadows on peoples faces and my son in laws eyes were closed in several pictures.
19 photos for $300 and half of them either my son or husbands eyes are closed. I can’t and won’t print any of these photos so just wasted $300. The editing isn’t done well for people of color. They blur or airbrush too much of the skin which made them look unrealistic. Just disappointed.
