We had a great experience at our family photo shoot a few weeks ago. Bella, the photographer, was very patient and helped to capture some great shots of the family. She did a good job of engaging with 3 small children to try to get them to smile. Even though our appointment was at the end of the day, she did not try to rush us and made sure we got all of the shots that we needed. Made appointment for me and my family. We arrived on time to be told it would be a hour wait because they over booked. The manager was a skinny mid 20 yr old guy that took our photos and for most part where off center. The photos where supposed to be professional quality but where horrible. We talked to an employee and she looked at photos and aggred to retake photos. While getting photos taking the manager was getting mad and acting immature about the situation. I was extremely leary about going to JC Penny for family pictures due to the fact that we have our own family photographer. Unfortunately, our family photographer was booked, but we really wanted family pictures so we decided to go to Pennys. Booked for holiday photos. Our session was cancelled on the same day via text. No phone call. No offer to reschedule or any apology. After multiple calls I reached someone at the studio who said they had to cancel due to a photographer calling off. Totally unreliable and unprofessional. Will never use again!
