This is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever been to. The place opened late, and I sit there 30 mins past my eye appointment. Came in on Monday got my exam, picked out glasses, and waited all day for a price on 3 pair of glasses. I didn’t get a price for 3 days. I had to call, for an update, and a price. So unprofessional! The kid was nice, but acted like he didn’t have a clue on what he was doing. Not to mention, he was dressed unprofessional, in street clothes. ABSOLUTELY, THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Waited a half an hour no one showed up.There was also a couple who had been there waiting since 11am when the store hours posted said, 11am-7pmi arrived at 1pm and a manager from the JC penny store (Brenda) came to help by calling the district manager to see why NO ONE was in the store for HOURS! Poor customer service. Charged a protection plan without being asked whether I wanted it or not.
I AM DISSATIFIED WITH JCPENNEY OPTICAL, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Paid $230. for my glasses and I still don't have them. I don't write reviews but, I have to write one for this J C Penney Optical (Southpoint location). Please follow my time line: 06/18/19 Eye Exam, everything went OK. 07/03/19 Return to pick-up new glasses, while fitting glasses sales rep. broke them.
