It took one year to get my $400 pair of glasses correct . Then, 2 years later, there were cracks in both lens. They said the cracks were from normal "wear and tear" from putting them on in am and taking them off at night and there was nothing they could do about it. I was offered a minimal percentage off on a new pair of glasses but preferred not to go through that kind of ordeal again. The whole experience was very unprofessional.
I would give it less than one star if I could. This is the first negative review that I have ever written, but the service is so bad at this eye center that I really want to warn people not to bother to go there. Just called to get a pair of replacement glasses because I've lost my current once I spent 45 minutes on the phone while she tried to get her computer to work quote unquote. Problems with both pair of glasses ordered....long wait in line while the one sales person here spends wat too long with customer...lots of chit chat....returned several times for problems with glasses. Will never order from JCPenny again.This is a review of the Puyallup store.
Since I am a Kaiser member, I always get my glasses through them. However, they do not carry the sunglasses that clip over prescription lenses, which I need. JC Penney Optical carries a nice variety of clip-ons to fit many frames currently in style at very competitive prices.
JCPennys should do something about the RUDE manager Dora! This is a place that I thought it was apart of penny's it is not Dora is so Rude and Moody it makes me feel like I bother her just to ask a question I will tell people and never I back because of her! Do something penny's !
Went to JCP optical because I liked a pair of frames they had. The optician rushed through the exam, the manager added a bunch of extras on to my lenses without discussing the cost of each and slammed me with a huge cost for my glasses when I had insurance. Once I had the glasses I never saw clearly and they broke in less then 6 months. Was reexamine for free. Was told, since the frames were under warranty I would get a replacement frame for free. Nope, they said I would have to pay a $24.00 "deductible" to replace the frame... read more
I have been going to eye doctors since I was a child, i drifted from Dr. to Dr. and never setteled with anyone until I met Dr. Bock. Dr. Bock was friendly, did a comprehensive exam and took a picture of the inside of my eyes - great experience now I have a permanent eye Doctor.
Dr. Bock is an amazing Doctor. The staff at JCP optical are always friendly and helpful. Loved the explanations and details he gave me on the pictures of my eye. I know vision is in GREAT hands when I go and see him. Thanks Dr. Bock!!!
If u want to look your worst then go to the JCPenney Salon. I was there and I told the girl what color I wanted and I specifically told her to be careful because my hair tends to go red. I said I wanted dark. After 1 and half hour I look at my hair and it was ORANGE... And they still charged me full amount for that...
