I went to my local JCP Optical this week, which I love. I was informed that all JCP Optical depts are permanently closed. Penney's merchandise stores, are still open. Some of them.
We are first time customers we’re very happy with the professional and friendly help we Rece. The manager, whose name is destiny, was very helpful and answered all of the questions we had made us feel very comfortable. We will be suggesting this establishment to friends and family.
The first pair was no-line bifocals which totally did not work for me. Everything was blurry. I returned them for different frames and different lenses plus a pair of computer glasses, and both were perfect. The saleswoman did her job in a very professional way, knew what she was talking about, and ultimately I walked away a happy customer. Prices were competitive with other vision centers in the area. BTW, they will not give refunds no matter what.
Sales associate was pleasant and helpful. I don't have my glasses back yet, but so far service has been excellent. Later: now that I have my glasses I can say yes, they did a good job. I first chose progressive lenses, and found they did not work for me. It seemed like the prescription was way too strong and I felt off balance and couldn't see well. So they went back and did regular bifocal lenses. Perfect.
