I have been a certified diver for many years but had not had any formal training in a long time. I found JCA elite scuba online and decided to sign up for the Master Diver course. Training with Carlos has been awesome. I truly feel like a much more competent and confident diver. Great instructor. Very patient when I struggled and went the extra mile in finding a wetsuit that would fit me. Highly recommend
Carlos is an excellent instructor if you want to become a better, safer, and more responsible diver. He clearly enjoys all facets of the sport from the technical minutia to the sheer joy of seeing a goofy little grunt sculpin scooting about. His iconoclastic tendencies and socratic teaching methods really make sure you synthesize what you're learning rather than just regurgitating. I just called to get a few of my questions answered and he went above and beyond took time out of his day to talk to me and make sure I understood and tell me where to go and what to do in detail I greatly appreciate his time didn’t catch his name but I believe he’s the owner and instructor If his classes or anything like how he treats people then odds are you are in the right place
