Worst place to take your boat! I dropped my boat off march 1st thinking i would get it back in plenty of time for summer. they told me it was a week job. They had it for 3 months and at the end said they cant find the parts for it. I took it to Daddys boat and rv and they had the part on the shelf! Thank you Daddys Boat and RV!!
So I called Jack to ask if I could get a partial credit for swapping out a trolling motor. He agreed and asked me to come by Tuesday morning, which meant I couldn't work that day, but I had to get it done. Upon arriving at the agreed time (and at great financial cost), he stated that he couldn't do it. After supporting that guy for decades, I'm baffled by this man's greed. His word means nothing. Unless you have deep pockets, avoid this place.
Got my first boat last year in August and it came with a 1982 Evinrude along with all the problems you might associate with a 1982 Evinrude. Tried to take it upon myself to troubleshoot with a buddy and look up parts to save money and then have JBT install them. After ordering the wrong parts a couple times and nearly getting stranded on the river, I finally let JBT do their own analysis and order the parts themselves.
