Many life lessons learned during this experience. Starting with no more “sporting” while wearing nice things, DIY metal detecting is harder than you may think and always resize your ring right after you get it and not 5 years later. Jon was a blessing. He was very thorough in his search and asked all the right questions when retracing the steps to when my ring flung off my finger.
