at 6:25pm I showed up at another (asian) nail shop after leaving jbbnaildit (black owned). When I walked into another nail shop, first of all I was greeted with a smile and what would you like done today? Mind you the shop closes at 7pm. I asked was it possible to get my nails done (full set w/gel)? Not only did they do my nails but I didnt have to sit for 30mins prior to getting serviced. Its going to take multiple post to get this point accross. This business have poor business practice & cheap product. You would think that they would want a happy customer. No! I never paid a deposit for a nail shop before, now i know why they require a deposit! They wouldnt make any money otherwise. It was literally 3 people getting their nails done when I arrived day 2 and 1 person getting her nails done day 1. You would think they would understand how bad service work? I left off asking for the nail tech that I initially booked with (Nia) or a refund. Well, this is when the situation got real. I was told to either get my nails done by another tech or not at all becuse Nia was unavailable. But under no circumstances was I getting my money back! This is not good or even fair customer service. There's a lot I can say about the cleanliness of that shop, the fact that it was hot (poor AC) when it was 90 degrees out side and had a weird stench. l left off explaining how I woke up less than 24hrs later with polish peeling & completely off a few fingers. It was too early to call Jbbnaildit so I went to work & called during my lunch hour. I explained what happened and that I would like the person that I booked with (Nia) to do my nails. I explained that I should make it by 5:30pm approx, I was told that she would see me at that time. I left off with just recieving a pedicure & Nia (tech that i booked appointment with) passing me a long to another nail tech in the shop. I dont know the young lady name, but she sits on the right side 1st station, wear glasses w/black frame. She wasnt mean, she was very serious, never smiled spoke in a low soft voice. Let me start out by saying that I booked a mani/pedi & brow appointment June 25, 2025 at 1pm. I arrived early, was told to sign in & have a seat. A young lady asked if i had an appointment? i said yes mani/pedi with Nia. She said she was Nia & I have my appointment with her. I watched Nia clean up a bit & get the water ready for my pedi.
