Nov. 28, 2025 – After a long trip with delayed connections, we were relieved to finally step out of Miami International Airport. We were immediately approached by an individual who did not clearly identify himself but offered to give us a ride. Exhausted, I agreed, just wanting to get to my hotel. THIS IS A SCAM! Just got a ride from someone claiming to be a taxi. I got charged $300 for a $50 ride. Do NOT fall for this! This is the name charged on my credit card and now I cannot get ahold of anybody.

Driver solicited for a ride as soon as I walked out of the airport which is illegal claiming he was a “taxi”. When we arrived to my address he tried to charge me 344 dollars compared to a 125 dollars in a luxury suv from Uber. Total scammers avoid avoid avoid.

Driver drove too fast aggressively overcharged way too much Miami Airport to Marriot charging $307.00 US to a Uber charge of 72.00 dollars on return in black cadillac suv he said his name was BJ my wife asked twice how much he kept avoiding the question the meter charge was from his phone TOTAL RIP OFF
