I was looking for a tire size and they got back with me
I learned some tires have to be removed from the rim facing up, and some reversed. Apparently that requires more equipment than what a regular tire installer/removal machine originally has. It's frustrating now knowing I need to ask a tire ship a questionnaire about their equipment prior to something as should be simple enough task of getting a tire repaired or replaced. I can only speak to my experience. Take it for what it is. I was driving in Monticello when I heard my brakes making a grinding noise. I pulled into this place and explained the problem. I was told I needed new brake pads which I expected. At first they ordered the wrong brake pads. I waited hours for them to return the wrong ones and find the right ones. Then after I paid and left, my truck made a huge boom sound when I braked. I returned. They did “Something” and the boom sound stopped but then my truck would shake violent... read more
As a woman, I dread going to auto shops! So I was expecting the worst when I went in for an oil change, but I was pleasantly surprised by JB Automotive! Everyone is super nice, the prices are very reasonable, and they are FAST! I had to get my alternator replaced and finally wasn't worried about having to deal with the same treatment and price gouging many women experience with car maintenance/repairs. Definitely would recommend!
Someone told me I needed a new transmission $4200. I had JB look at it and hook it up to the computer. Not the transmission!! About $200 later I'm good... they are honest people they aren't out for the money they just want everyone treated with respect and safe. Thank you JB
