I’ve been attending Jazzercise classes for about 15 years. In a couple of years I will be 80, so staying active is even more important to me. Jazzercise is perfect for me because it isn’t just an aerobics class. Both strength and balance are imbedded in the routines, which are essential to “aging gracefully”. The Instructors always remind us to “listen to our bodies”, and they offer modifications to the steps. Class is always fun because I’m dancing with friends that I’ve made at jazzercise.
Have enjoyed Jazzercise for many years. I appreciate the endurance, strength and flexibility I have gained and maintained and I especially appreciate the reversal of a 20 year history of osteoporosis that I was able to achieve through regular weight bearing workouts. Without prescription medications.
I have spent a lifetime trying to find some sort of exercise I liked.. and finally found it about a year ago. The instructors are fabulous and encouraging! Classes are fun and challenging! Lots of time options for those of us with crazy schedules. Finally back in clothes I haven’t worn for almost a decade! Super thankful for my friend (and instructor) Vanessa who kept encouraging me to try it out!
Jazzercise is a great way to start your day!!!
