Our home was built in 1875. We had unwanted visits from mice. I paid last year for a large well known company to fix the problem. They simply put down some exterior traps. Needless to say, we still have the problem that is until we hired Jay! He installed multiple traps in the house, filled in holes inside and out and, more importantly, comes to do period checks. He does an extremely thorough job and I would highly recommend him for any unwanted pests that you might have.
