I love the vibe of this shop. In searching for another barbershop in my old hood. I found Jays, I walked in and got the owner Jay! NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED!!! He was a really interesting guy and said he was in a metal band (I am more into punk myself). Jay gave me a great haircut. He said he normally is booked solid with appointments but had a cancellation so I walked in at the perfect time. I drive all the way from Encinitas just for Jay’s cuts. From the warm customer service to the top-notch skills, Jay’s Barbershop is more than just a great haircut—it’s a great experience every time.
Alexis did a great job meticulously creating a precision cut from just a picture. Parking is tight and this is not a salon so don’t expect a scissor cut but classic Barber services thrive here. The music is great and the place has a good vibe all around.
