Gave a "tampered" reading to someone who doesn't speak English well for smog check and kept their money. Was verified to be an incorrect read at another shop as the vehicle passed and no reason was found to mark the vehicle as "tampered". Is likely attempting to take advantage of those who aren't as capable of arguing on their behalf or lack the vehicular knowledge.

We took our BMW here for a smog last week and it was definitely a great decision. Jay, the owner, is an extremely friendly person and very knowledgeable. We discussed all sorts of things while waiting for the smog to be completed and he was very friendly the entire time and the work was done quickly. Bottom line, we will 100% be coming back here for anything else we need on our vehicle. Thanks Jay for a great experience.

Jay is the best mechanic I've ever had. He can figure out what needs to be done and do it promptly. Even with a complicated Engine Light problem, I was driving again on the day. And he does what he can to keep the cost down.

I recently had to have a series of repairs done on my 20 year old SUV and had them all done at Jay's. The pricing was incredibly reasonable, I really felt like they worked with me, and they were very kind and personable. I didn't end up needing it, but they also work with a finance institution so you can get your repairs financed if you're in a bind. I also really appreciated that I wasn't condescended to at all, as that has happened before with previous mechanics and other repair techs. I will absolutely be going back to Ja... read more
