My daughter received a check from a person saying that he wants his grass cut and he has a minimum amount he can write a check for and he will send her a $1,150 check for her to deposit into her bank account and then she can keep the $50 and send him the rest. I finally got a hold of someone at the “company” and they hung up on me while I was trying to explain that someone is stealing from them. It makes me feel as if they are involved in the scam.
