Dr. Thakkar is a good physician who I would recommend based on his abilities and bedside manner; however his staff is awful to the point I'd consider a different practice if my mother wasn't elderly and in a nursing home. Mom was released this week from the hospital, and I had a follow up appointment with her this morning. When I arrived, I was rudely informed they cancelled my appointment. Dr Jay has been my Doctor for 8 years now. I cant say enough about his practice. Always take the time always shows he cares !!!
It was my first visit and I was treated better than I could have expected. Doctor was patient and responsive. If you're in the area I would definitely suggest this doctor as a PCP.
We go to this doctor who is friendly with kids.He is great.Highly recommend him.
