I am trying to warn as many people as possible so that you don't fall victime to Jaye Ballard like I did. He is a court appointed family court attorney in NYC, and he is horrendous. He is really bad as an attorney and person. I recommend no one use him, and that he be disbarred from ever practicing law in any capacity again forever. He lies constantly to clients, misrepresents material information, fraudulently conveys information, and is just not in your corner, and he quits when he is called out on his bs. Any good reviews for this fraudster must be paid for. He is bad lawyer. He does not doe anything to help his clients. He is like a public pretender but in family court. He yells and berates clients. He gets paid I guess through the court, so there is no accountabilyt to whether he actually does his job. He is definitely part of the problem, and I am moving to get him disbarred. If I could give negative stars I would. Terrible Lawyer, terrible person. He should be disbarred. He does not file paper work when he says he will, then he shows up to court late, and recommends things to the judge, that were not ever discussed with the client, then he yells and gaslights the client for calling him out for not properly representing their interest.
