Jay made our remote home remodeling a worry-free process. He responded our calls and texts promptly. He took good care of procurement of materials, appliances, and permit/inspection. He was always candid in communicating, and had high standard of ethics. It was a pleasure working with Jay the builder.
Great quality experience from beginning to end! Jay managed the process from the very start and kept me well informed throughout the first master bath remodel and then on to a kitchen remodel! Jay had an excellent relationship with the design suppliers so it made it very easy to very patiently select exactly what we wanted and compare ideas to insure we would have the perfect finished product.
After a flood in our attic, Jay helped us navigate the insurance process and made sure we got the most possible for repairs. When the payout fell short, he still worked within our budget and delivered a beautiful, functional kitchen in just two and a half weeks. We worked with his custom cabinet guy for new boxes and they look amazing (wish we had them throughout the kitchen). The paint work was great and our hardwood floors were left spotless. Will definitely be working with Jay for future projects!
We recently used Jay the Builder for a kitchen, eating area, and laundry room remodel along with making some upgrades to our family room. The estimated completion time was in 7 weeks, but our job was finished in 5 1/2 weeks. Both Jay and his crew put a lot of time, effort, and work into the project, and in return we got a beautiful upgrade to all those rooms! These people allow their workers to liter in your area. They drive recklessly often and if you are on a dirt road then just expect more disrespect. I live near an area they build in and I'm often disappointed in their atmosphere. The phone number seems like it's out of state so that's not surprising. I can't speak for their building but from what I have seen it's average for the industry and so why have such poor atmosphere? Comment and review if you too seem to be afflicted by workers and sub contractors with bad manners.
