I've been having worrisome symptoms for several weeks and Dr. Mellen showed zero compassion or interest in fully understanding all symptoms. He had no idea about negative items on my lab results. Was brushed off quickly with the colonoscopy confirmed for next week. This was after I waited approx an hour for my scheduled office visit and then having him quickly spend 5 min with me. After my procedure is completed, I will no longer be seeing Dr. Mellen. This is not the first negative experience I've had with Dr. Mellen.
Saw word for word in another review (wish I had seen that) what I would like to WARN others with. If you are seeing this doctor or any doctor in this practice - SWITCH DOCTORS. I got a new patient appointment, EGD and other testing all redone within a two week time period. Something Dr. Mellen and his office are unwilling and incapable of doing. Dr mellen Is a great dr he has made me feel so much better thought i was going to die before i found him i was out of hope. I wish him a wonderful life he deserves it.
I went to Dr. Mellen after weeks of stomach pain and digestive problems that kept me from eating. He dismissed most of my symptoms, explained nothing, showed no compassion for my concerns, and left quickly. He performed an EGD and colonoscopy. At my follow-up, he verbally gave me the wrong person's results, laughed at me when I said I could barely eat anything, and told me he would see me again once I improved my diet. He asked no questions, offered no support, and dismissed me.
