Jay Jeter (the owner and primary counselor of RiverBend) hurried me off the phone 30 minutes into our 60 minute session, clearly had not read any notes about me, and seemed way more interested in up selling their classes (not covered by any insurance, but you do get a certificate!!) than helping me out. Do not use this man. He is absolutely awful. I should have reported him. My husband and I went in there with issues at the time. Within 10 mins he told us to break up. We both said that’s not what we were wanting. He would not take that for and answer. We didn’t go in there with major issues either. He said I was immature for staying with him and that he wasn’t going to do couples counseling with us. Instead the 20 mins was how we were going to coparent. We both finally had to agree to break because he wouldn’t accept any ot... read more

I've been visiting with Jay Jeter for well over two years. I've met with other LPC's in the past; I'm so very glad to have found Jay. I've been suffering from panic attacks, anxiety and depression. And the recent death of my father. Jay has been wonderful helping me deal with these struggles. He's very caring when offering suggestions/cues to help me deal with these problems. Sometimes I heard things I didn't want to hear which were tough and very thought provoking but they always helped me think of issues in a different way... read more
