Went to the ER 12/15/24 after a fall the night before. I could not walk. Severely pulled groin muscle and broken clavicle. They had to help me into wheel chair and then park my truck. After 2 hours and 2 x-rays the "orthopedic nurse", she called herself, told me nothing was broken. Verbatim-"I have to wait on radiologist but I do not put a lot of stock in them." My mom rosemary aman was in jay hospital, the compassion of all the nursing staff, cafeteria staff, pt and janitorial was astounding. They treated my mom like family and really cared about her. I've never been in a hospital where they were do caring. Jay hospital will be the place we will choose for our medical needs. Thank yall so much.
I was nervous to go here with some of the bad reviews but we are new to the area and this was the only option besides driving and hour away so I figured we would try it and make the longer trip if it was really that bad. After going I had the total opposite experience. My son had some concerning symptoms and the entire staff from the time we checked in to discharge were so sweet and really took the time to get to know us and explain everything going on to put me at ease. Went to Jay hospital severe pain lower back legs and feet can so much pain couldn't even walk after spending several hours they decided that I needed antibiotics no pain meds whatsoever and discharge me to walk home to Century from Jay Florida and no no drugs whatsoever in my system or have been used... I'm pretty sure unless you're an addict Jay Florida does not know how to treat you
