Doctor jay ferrell is the absolute best doctor surgeon ever!!! Took care of all our needs and did our surgery we couldn't have asked for anyone any better! Would highly recommend to everyone. I have a hard time sharing my experience with this doctor. I had a lump on my neck, I was told it was cancer. During surgery major nerves were severed. I had to have a second surgery to repair the damage done. The Trauma doctor at University hospital had to use a graph to reconnect the nerves. I am unable to raise my left arm or feel to scratch an itch. The scar is so ugly it looks like a hockey stick that stretches from my ear around the collarbone to the front middle of my neck. Dr. Ferrell is great!! I am very happy I found him for a second opinion on a situation that I felt was not being handled correctly. His whole team from medical assistant, physician/surgical assistants and surgical team are all wonderful too. It was very important to me that the doctor who treated me was knowledgeable, but also would take consideration of my surgical concerns cosmetically as well due to the location of the problem.
