The staff and the doctors have gone above and beyond to help my husband and I. I am so thankful for them all.
Firstly, I've been going to this center for about 4yrs, every 6 months for infusion. I've had issues before where employees have let things fall through the cracks adding to an already stressful situation. The nurses are amazing and caring and I have enjoyed being served by them. However, as someone who is seen evey 6 months, common sense would dictate that financial specialist would ask for authorization in advanced, especially when they were aware that it would expire. I was very disappointed with my recent visit at Florida Cancer Specialists this time! I came in, told them who I was, worked through what I thought was the check in process, I mean they acted like they were checking me in, had someone from billing come and clarify my bill due and I paid it and made my copay, they notified the blood work team, I was gotten to do blood work, everything was good, then I was told to wait for infusion to call me.
