Saw him after my NP moved to a different area of medicine. He took over her patients. Dr. Hertel was very dismissive. His response to most things was “well, thats half the population.” When I asked if that was going to be the conclusion to how I was feeling, he said - “well I don’t know what’s else to do.” This is the first time I was seeing him. The best doctor I've ever seen.
Dr. Hertel has been treating my mother for years. She is less than eager or cooperative but he works very well with her. I am always impressed with his patience and empathy.
Very disappointed. I've been with this medical group for several years, through 3 practice name changes - more than 25 years. Medical care has literally gone down the drain. I used to refer family and friends here. I no longer have for over 3 years. HIIPA violations, messages not taken down correctly. And/or relayed wrong.
