I needed a quick trim while on vacation in Newport. Found this charming little shop when buying groceries at Shaw’s. Dana gave me a trim and wonderful conversation! I was made to feel very “at home” as if I had always been coming there to get my cuts! Fantastic place, I would recommend it to everyone!!

While my daughter ultimately received an adorable haircut, I was disheartened by the hairdresser's reaction to my 5-year-old's request. My daughter was thrilled about getting a short 'pixie' cut but was met with: 'No! Why would you want that when you're so pretty? Why would you want to look like a boy?' It pained me to see my daughter's spirited nature potentially dampened by such narrow and outdated perspectives.
