Thanks very much for this food I’m very enjoyed it, tuna it’s very good
I thought the food was average and a bit over priced. I was surprised to received an unexpected 20% service charge to help support sustainable wages and rising operational costs. Certainly didn’t help add any value. I didn’t notice the sign until the meal was over and didn’t realize that the service charge didn’t help go towards supporting the servers. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly wouldn’t come back.
I love this place so much and the servers, bar staff, and shuckers are always so nice to me. I often come by myself for all day Monday happy hour since my partner is not a huge seafood fan (lame) 😉 Recently, if you don't have a reservation they have an outdoor patio where a server will bring you a cocktail or mocktail. It is really nice. Laid back atmosphere with top notch food and great happy hour.
We have not been here in a long time. We decided to go to the Jax’s in Glendale (because I love oysters and my husband picked the place to celebrate my birthday and because the parking and safety downtown by the Jax’s downtown is so horrific.) Unfortunately, the service at the Glendale Jax’s was horrible!!! They said they were completely full, but we got a seat at the bar. We had a wonderful dinner here with kind and attentive service, a nice ambiance and some very unique oyster options that blew me away. Food was excellent! We will be back again.
