Had our car in here in early July 2026 for a ACT roadworthy. To our surprise when we took the car out to Hume it then subsequently failed because Jaws automotive had not found the illegal tinting. We have raised the issue with them two times now, and while the receptionist is nice over the phone we keep getting promises of a call back. We essentially paid for a roadworthy that wasn't proper. Very disappointing experience. I brought my car to this mechanic shop in Phillip in February after clearly explaining the issue with the vehicle. Unfortunately, they diagnosed a different problem and, during the repair process, something else in the car was allegedly damaged. My car has now been with them for almost 3 months and is still not repaired. Sure.. they're nice till they stuff up your job. My vehicle was miss-diagnosed by these cowboys. After 2 months of waiting for them to sort it out, they left me hanging. I've had to involve ACT Fair trade. Do yourselves a favour, go somewhere else!! eg; Next door looks a better run business. Also, the well reputed Car Mechanical Services in Fisher are better bets.
