Ring failure on multiple cylinders, With massive and engine oil consumption. When I called them, they totally blew me off blaming other components. After I got the leak down test They told me the engine was out just of warranty, even though I initially contacted them during the Period. I do not recommend buying from them
JUNK! IF YOU LIKE DOING WARRANTY WORK ON THEIR PRODUCTS BUY JASPER ALSO IF YOU DO DRINK THE KOOL-AIDE MAKE SURE THEY SIGN YOUR BILL OF LADING WHEN THEY PICK UP YOUR CORES OR WARRANTY UNITS. THEY WILL SAY THEY NEVER RECEIVED THEM AND BILL YOU!! IF I COULD LEAVE A 0 STAR I WOULD.
Good engines
$4,514.00 for engine price. Installed by East Beltline Service on 12 Feb 2019. On 20Oct2022 took it to Dealership for code P00017. Tech. Said needs major tear down for timing issue. Engine has 22,450 miles on it. Called Jasper they said sorry it’s 8 months out or warranty. Nothing they can do. Any company that builds an engine that the timing system doesn’t last 22,500 miles must have reused the old timing belts from the original engine it rebuilt. I built these engines.
