My mechanic bought a remanufactured engine from Jasper and it will not stop overheating. We’ve done all our due diligence about the cooling system. I am finding that people in the industry know that Jasper over bores the cylinders to 60 and over, and resuses old pistons with maybe new rings. When you over bore the cylinders you leave very little iron between the combustion chamber and it super heats the antifreeze. My Customer, Peggy Liss, purchased an engine and transmission from these people. It was a 97 Lincoln TC , they paid for the installation . The front timing cover leaked after Couple of miles being driven! We repaired this issue, they sent me a timing cover, it wasn’t the cover, it was the seal behind the cover. We repaired that! have been installing for these guys for a long time over 15 years . only had maybe one or two problems .They try to help you figure out your problem. If not they just send replacement out . remember YOUR shop looked at it 1 st. NO one is perfect .
