If I could give them zero stars I would. They don't stand behind their products. Shady business practices, and very poor remain processes for their products. DO NOT BUY JASPER ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS.
My very reliable and honest mechanic shop in Douglas Wyoming install a rebuilt transmission, it worked well, I didn't abuse the car, babied it, my auto shop loves your company and recommends it to everyone that wants quality and money savings.
The transmission i purchased from them lasted 19,000 miles. They "warrantied" the transmission by sending me another junk one. The new one was installed and ended up needing a 700 dollar new solinoid pack to drive it at all. They refused to cover any labor for putting the transmission in and for the solenoid pack. If i could give no stars I would. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK
My transmission lasted about 35,000 miles. The good part it's covered up to 100,000 miles. The bad part they only cover $80 an hour for the shop to install the new one. Think that rate was in the 1980's. So you cover the difference. Also keep in mind that you'll have to purchase the replacement transmission, have it shipped and have it installed. So you'll need to have a backup plan for a vehicle or 3-4 weeks. Then when they receive the old one, they look at it and determine if it's your fault or theirs. Then they send out a... read more
