Purchased a Transmission for a customers Handicap Van. The transmission that was sent had an internal failure. This unit would not complete a test drive after repair. Jasper Engines and Transmission's answer was to add some cheap transmission shudder fix in a bottle from a parts store. If that helps they said to add another. I has a Jasper engine put in my Chevy Avalanche. Their engines come with a 3 year and 100k mile warranty but the problem is that they will only pay $75/hour for any work being done. Within 50K miles, my engine had low oil pressure. I had a new sensor and a new oil pump put in which cost me the difference in the $75/hour labor and what the mechanic had to charge. Then, that still did not solve the problem. Jasper sent a whole new engine but then I have to put the labor difference again.
