DO NOT BUY A MOTOR FROM JASPER UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STRANDED. My jeep motor blew up and bought one from Jasper. Everything was great until 16,000 miles and it exploded while on cruse control…. We were able to warranty replace it but not without still having to pay some labor because they wouldn’t cover enough. Here we are 10,000 miles later with ANOTHER blown up motor and we were offered a whopping 8% discount to BUY a new motor. What an absolute joke. Waiting to get my 4th trans installed in 9months. First one blew 22 miles after install, the next…50 miles. The third that’s in now I’m about 6k miles and it feels like it’s falling apart. These products are worse than iPhone chargers as far as I’m concerned. And I’m very concerned. What do I do if this happens again? Reviews are rife with poor customer service and apparently my 3 year warranty is 9months in already and I’ve gotta baby this truck just to get to work. DON'T BUY FROM JASPER!!! There builds are garbage and they wont stand behind there products! We got a Jasper transmission in our Truck, I noted I didn't like how it shifted, less then 22 months later less then 7,000 miles it fails. Take it back to our dealer, I am told they will give me a new reman transmission but I have to pay for the transmission to be pulled and new one installed ($1,000) and we have to sign a waiver and have it notarized that there is no warranty on the one they are putting into the vehicle.
