Jason's Thai... a local/DU favorite Although it is Denver, I have found Jason's Thai to make some of the better sushi found in a casual dining setting. In addition to sushi, they are known for other traditional Thai and Chinese dishes including Pad Thai, Sesame Chicken and the like. Servers are friendly and the Sushi Chefs are some of the nicest around.
Good, not great This restaurant used to be Isle of Singapore and we loved to order food from them for delivery. Since it has changed to Jason's Thai we have been a bit disappointed. It is ok, but not great. The Thai choices are better, but the chinese selections not as good.
Singapore Style Chinese the Isle of Singapore is located on University near DU. The food here is a Singapore variant of standard Chinese food. It is some of the most flavorful I have tasted. I ordered their version of Kung Pao chicken and found it spicier than that I usually get from standard Chinese. The service was excellent and friendly. I recommend this restaurant highly.

Food is not from Singapore or Malaysia eventhough it has Singaporean/Malaysian dishes in the Menu – This is just another Chinese/Western fusion restuarant. The dishes on the menu with Malaysian/Singaporean name are of their own creation, nothing resemble the original dish. If you truly craved for authenic Malaysian/Singaporean food you will be very disappointed.
Isle of Singapore: Great Spicy Malaysian-Chinese Dishes – I have been to The Isle of Singapore probably a hundred times. Guess why? It has wonderful spicy food, which I absolutely love. I lived in Paris and Tokyo for many years (total of twelve years). I also have visited Hong Kong 8 times. The Isle of Singapore's food compares very well with the same foreign cuisine I ate in those two cities. I always order one of the following: 1) chili chicken, ($9) 2) curry lamb ($11.95); 3) braised beef (about $9 or $10); 4) curry beef ... read more
Save the price of the plane ticket and spend it eating the real deal right at home. – In Short This little eatery is located in a crowded strip mall northeast of the University of Denver. Visitors find the usual tasty selection of kung pao dishes and Buddha's Delight on the menu. There's also the Sapi Saos Merica Hitam (sizzling beef with black pepper sauce) and Tahu Saos Istimewa (fried tofu with the chef's special sauce). The noodle salad with peanut sauce fried rice with fish are also good.
