A classic deli, tons of choices, always fresh, great salad b – Highlights: Smoked turkey panini Salad bar-- its bombdiggity! Deli "Cowboy" brisket sandwich Free ice cream for the kids Club Royale Bread selections Soups and chili--variety Its so nice to have a true deli in town. My folks insist on a trip to Jason's when they visit since they don't have one near them in Floida.
Great salad bar and Gluten-Free options – This place has the best salad bar anywhere. There's a great variety and many of the options are organic. I'm fond of the hummus and bean salad. This is the only place in town where we can get gluten-free sandwiches for a reasonable price - they currently don't charge extra for it either. You can also buy a loaf of the GF bread - it's pricy, but it's really good- it's not hard or dry, and makes amazing grilled cheese sandwiches. Service Could Be Better – I eat here occasionally. The food is healthy and good and there is a variety of options to choose from. My only complaint is that the majority of the time I come here, the employees don't really seem to know what they are doing and they always seem to get my order wrong.
great food and service – Very impressed with the food, the employees were very friendly and even brought food to the table with a smile. Manager must be doing something right. Way to go.
Great Meal – Driving through Brier Creek shopping center last night looking for a place to eat and decided to try Jason's Deli. Glad we did. Service was very good and the sandwiches were stuffed with meat, well prepared. We will be back
Mean manager – I've eaten at many Jason's Delis, as well as numerous other restaruants, but have never run across such a down right mean manager. This one's name, I found out, is Jeremy. He was running the Jason's Deli on loop 1604 off Mossrock in San Antonio. While I was there I witnessed him belittling and berating his own employees "behind their backs," but from where they could hear him. Great Stuff – Lots of organic ingredients... love that! Not greasy! They deliver in about an hour and everything is always well packed and I've never had them get an order wrong. We love it :)
What's going on? – First time I tried Jason's I was very impressed, so it soon became a favorite, and a place I had no reservations about reccomending to family & friends. Reccomendations do not come easily from me, I'm a former chef, so I'm picky about what I'll give good reviews about to others. Jason's was always given high marks from me. Boycott Jason's Deli !! – Normally, I don't care if someone honestly tells me that I don't qualify or I am over qualified for a job.
