Dr. Rockwood has been an excellent Podiatrist for me. I've been to others, and none have displayed knowledge on my heel problem as he has. He is patient, friendly and professional. He spelled out options for treatments, from therapeutic to surgical. After I trying initial options, I chose surgery. He actually drew out on paper a detailed explanation of how my surgery would take place, and why he would do each step. I have been to other podiatrists in Santa Fe with very mixed results, from 'cookie cutter' methods to outright rude, unprofessional behavior. Dr Rockwood is personable, patient, professional, helpful, and that rolling ultrasound device of his is great: you get a thorough explanation of your issues and see live images in real time...just wonderful, reassuring. I've referred several people to him as well, all of them had positive experiences.
