I recently brought my vehicle to Jason Tire for a persistent check engine light. During our discussion, Jason recommended both an oil change and replacing the tires, believing the check engine light might be due to an improperly installed oil filter from a previous service. Walked in there with a part politely asked if he could install it. He went on a rant about how hes a mechanic and hes tired of people doing their own research before coming in. I tried to politely back out of the altercation by asking him what does he recommend. He started yelling at me to get out of his store. I was so confused and not sure how it escalated to that. Either way I will never forget how that made me feel and I usually don’t leave reviews unless they are good but in this case I will remember this forever.
Was putting off reviewing bc as a guy, Jason’s cool.. But we got the raw deal when buying our tires. He suggested specific tires, $250 each and they lasted 1.5 year and 16,000 miles. Went back to him and he told us to give the manufacturer a call and figure it out. Just do your research before committing to anything.
Super friendly. Great price. Dropped my car off in the morning and it was done before the evening.
