After meeting Dr. Matthews, I'd NEVER see anyone else. He's kind, thorough, reassuring, razor blade brilliant and wonderfully communicative. I was in absolute agony when I saw him. He knew exactly what to do when many others did not. As far as I'm concerned, there is noone else.
Dr. Matthews is fantastic. I've seen him 3 or 4 times, now, each time for a different issue. Every single time, he can quickly diagnose the issue and provide a clear explanation of what the diagnosis is, what it means, how to fix it, and how to avoid recurrence in the future. If you need to see a sports med. doctor, don't waste time looking elsewhere. I really cannot overstate how great Dr. Matthews is. He'll know exactly what to do for you just like he did for me. Dr. Matthews is a wonderful, caring doctor. However, the medical assistant and office manager are incompetent and unprofessional. They will question the doctor's orders and give you excuses as to why they cannot do their job. Unfortunately, I have recommended Dr. Matthews many times, but no longer can due to multiple issues with the medical assistant and excuses from office manager.
