I just completed my visit with Jason Rickman to receive my new hearing aids. Oh my gosh how dramatically technology has changed since receiving my last aids 5 years ago from Sam's Club. Jason was very patient, calm and understanding that all of this could be very intimidating to this "boomer". He slowly explained all the features, how to use them with my iPhone app (which I know very little about) charging, cleaning and all of the neat new features of Smart 3D pairing. Jason did not acknowledge nor document any of my service- related details discussed in the preliminary interview which in this case was the responsible thing to do. He did not share with me any of the details of the exam. He forgot to mention that I was required to fire rifles in 190+ 21-gun salutes without noise protection.
