Great doctor, staff
The worst office ever, they should probably hire more people and fire all current office staff. I can’t blame the doctor, never met him. But trying to connect with a scheduling person became a nightmare. I called three times in week and never heard back. Thats unacceptable in healthcare, where every case might be urgent enough. They just don’t care

I had a cardiac catheterization with Dr Heckendorn today, at SMH main campus. I can’t say enough good things about this doctor, or the staff at the cath lab. Everything was well explained, the procedure was performed with as little discomfort as possible, and post procedure follow up with my husband and myself was excellent. Nothing felt rushed, and I knew I was being well cared for. He’s also approachable and friendly, which is a huge bonus. I won’t hesitate to see this physician again as my primary cardiologist.
