I met Dr. Hawksworth just five days after receiving a liver cancer diagnosis with virtually no symptoms. He was completely professional, listened and answered all our questions, and while delivering the difficult message that the cancer was inoperable, was kind and understanding. He seamlessly interacted with the oncologist and interventional radiologist and came up with a treatment plan to try to get to a transplant. I recommend him without reservation.
Very professional and highly organized
After a few appointments with Doctor Hawksworth, his gifts for surgical competency and bedside manner (patience, attentiveness, empathy) become apparent. I recommend him highly to anyone considering such a potentially life-altering event as a liver transplant.
Knowing that I work in the healthcare field, I appreciate that fact that Dr.Hawksworth was polite, easy to talk to, and caring to my needs. He explained everything that he was going to do within my procedure and when the day came I felt at easy. I would recommend all patients to get their transplant done with him. He is a gem that is hard to find in the healthcare field and I am glad I found him.
Dr. Hawsworth had an amazing bedside manner and explained everything surrounding the procedure very well. He and his team are very very personable and warm.
