I had a robotic inguinal hernia repair in the spring of 2024. The incisions were taped and glued closed. I noticed a small gap in one of the incisions after I got home. I went back 4 times in 3 months because the wound wasn't healing. I was told each time 'Don't worry about it', it will eventually heal. He blew me off each time I returned. I sought out another surgeon for the wound and he told me I also had an umbilical hernia. So, I had the surgery for the umbilical hernia and he repaired the existing wound. This man is incompetent. Negligent at best. I have had a profoundly negative experience with this medical 'professional'. Two unsuccessful surgeries and the prospect of a third indicate a serious lapse in care. My concerns about the recovery process were met with extreme disregard, as I was dismissed abruptly and unprofessionally. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend seeking a qualified medical professional who can provide appropriate care and demonstrate respect for their patients.'
