Would not recommend for any major or serious surgeries. I had to spend 6 months healing only to get the surgery redone by another surgeon who corrected the work done by Dr. Fowlkes Also incredibly impatient near the end. He was understanding and kind at first to be fair, but as I was faced with a hard decision to make and started to ask more questions, the more rude he became.
Wonderful customer service! Dr. Fowlkes has a very warm and supportive bedside manner. I did not have to wait long to go back and he came to the room within a matter of minutes. I am very thankful to have been referred to him. I highly recommend their office!
Staff is friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. Dr. Fowler took time to listen to what I had to say, and treated me with respect.
Dr Fowlkes is an extraordinary surgeon. I traveled to Blacksburg, VA specifically for a consult on MALS (median arcuate ligament syndrome) and SMAS (Superior mesenteric artery syndrome). This is major surgery that was a complete success, allowing me to resume eating & drinking fluids again.
