If I could give him zero stars I would. I brought my elderly dad in because his PCP wasn’t available and we desperately needed an antibiotic prescription. My dad has Parkinson’s and dementia and was presenting with typical kidney infection symptoms, including confusion, pain in lower right abdomen and back, and blood in urine. This PA refused to prescribe general antibiotics until receiving the urinalysis and urine culture results, the results of the latter take 2 days. Jason is amazing. I have been a patient of his for 2 years. He is knowledgeable, patient and extremely thorough. I am a stage 3 cancer survivor and needed a new family doctor when I moved to this area. The bloodwork he orders is comprehensive and I receive a breakdown of the results from him personally in MyUNCchart. He always sends my annual referrals for preventative screening as soon as they are needed.
I have been going to Jason since July of 2023 and have no plans on switching providers anytime soon. He never makes me feel like he is in a rush; he takes time to listen to my concerns and genuinely cares about my health. Thank you!
