If I could give him zero stars I would. I brought my elderly dad in because his PCP wasn’t available and we desperately needed an antibiotic prescription. My dad has Parkinson’s and dementia and was presenting with typical kidney infection symptoms, including confusion, pain in lower right abdomen and back, and blood in urine. Jason is amazing. I have been a patient of his for 2 years. He is knowledgeable, patient and extremely thorough. I am a stage 3 cancer survivor and needed a new family doctor when I moved to this area. The bloodwork he orders is comprehensive and I receive a breakdown of the results from him personally in MyUNCchart. He always sends my annual referrals for preventative screening as soon as they are needed.
I have been going to Jason since July of 2023 and have no plans on switching providers anytime soon. He never makes me feel like he is in a rush; he takes time to listen to my concerns and genuinely cares about my health. Thank you!
I have never experienced such poor and rude bedside manner from a healthcare provider. Took my mom to see him today because her PCP was booked for today……as soon as he walked in he had a very poor attitude and proceeded to talk to my mom as if she was a complete inconvenience to his day. She has been a patient at UNC Wakefield for 5 years and we have never had any issues until today. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and avoid him at all costs!!
Great professionalism and warm personality. He was well versed with my issues and had a treatment plan already in mind and ready to execute. Took time to answer all my questions and took great pride in his patience care. The office staff were very attentive and professional as well.
