I highly recommend Dr. Jasen Gilley as a foot surgeon if you have a severe bunion deformity like I did. I had been to two podiatrists who recommended a surgery that would not have worked. Dr. Gilley patiently told me why a mid foot fusion or Adductoplasty was the best surgery to correct my foot. I am so glad I found Dr. Gilley and his staff. I was scheduled for a tendon repair by another surgeon and sought a second opinion from Dr. Gilley at the last minute. While the tendon was indeed torn, Dr. Gilley’s recovery plan was completely different and more favorable/reasonable. His staff is amazing and so is he. After going to two different urgent care facilities, one saying, "No broken bones. You Probably strained a muscle or yada yada yada.." and two weeks later going to second one because it just was not getting better..and actually hurting worse, they also took xrays, and said, "No Broken bones. You DO have 2 bone spurs here on the side of your foot. You have tendonitis."
