AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! This was my mother's Oncologist. Several weeks of my mother complaining to Dr. Reed of her being tired and can't walk, he finally had a bone marrow biopsy performed on my mother and the diagnosis was Myelodyplastic Syndrome, told her he'll follow up with another biopsy in 6months. In the meantime he'll be vacationing for the entire month of October. When she told me this I was dumbfounded as even I knew she needed to have a stem cell transplant.
